This month’s topic is on Girls in STEM. Women have brought incredible innovations in all areas of STEM. From Marie Curie’s famous research into Radioactivity, to Ada Lovelace writing the first ever computer algorithm, women have made their mark in history in incredible ways. Explore some of those amazing marks and then some with this TryEngineering Tuesday for Girls in STEM.
Today, women make up only around 27% of the STEM workforce.
Scientists, Engineers, and more have had low numbers of women working in the fields for too long. Join IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) and explore this Tryengineering Tuesday to discover how we can all work together to get more girls into the STEM workforce.
