Thomas Edison Pitch Contest

The Thomas Edison Pitch Contest was created in 2010 as a competition to showcase and encourage invention, innovation and entrepreneurship among students before they get to college. Every year, students submit their great ideas to win prizes and gain the hands-on experience exclusive to our contest!

Students in grades 4-12 are invited to compete in this contest honoring innovation & Thomas Edison. We will have an elementary school category, middle school category, and high school category to compete in. Our fun STEM contest will allow students to create their own inventions to solve problems that they see in the world today. You’ll have the chance to:

  • Learn about STEM, history, & entrepreneurship all in one contest
  • Receive a FREE Maker-Kit full of inventing supplies from Picoturbine ($200 value) & a $200 Stipend for your teacher/mentor (Limit of 3 per school)
  • Pitch your invention to a panel of judges who are real-life scientists & entrepreneurs
  • Work on a team with friends to win the Grand Prize – A 3D PRINTER FOR YOUR SCHOOL
