Target Applicant: Pre-University


The University of Toronto Space Design Contest (UTSDC) is an annual high school design contest organized by undergraduate and graduate students. The event objective is to inspire and develop an interest for the fields of engineering and science amongst high school students around the world as they begin making choices for their post-secondary education. Participating high school student teams of five are invited to propose and present design solutions to address the current space-related challenge defined as the contest. A series of preparation events that culminate to a two day design conference will provides all participants both the experience of the engineering design process, as well as an opportunity to interact with a wide diversity of academias and industry experts.
