The University of Alberta’s Engineering Co-op students comprise approximately 40% of Engineering students beyond first year. The cooperative degree requires five years. In addition to eight, four-month terms of full-time study, students complete five, four-month work terms. These consist of full-time, paid employment in a position related to their field of study.
