A Royal Ride: Catherine the Great’s Great Invention

Show kids ages 4-8 how roller coasters were invented with this fun story. Catherine the Great was a Russian Empress in the 1750s. Wanting to continue the winter fun of ice slides in the spring, she helped design what is now known as the world’s first roller coaster. Show your kids how science and creative thinking can make a difference in the world with Catherine’s invention.

Math-loving kids ages 10 and up might enjoy learning about Katherine Johnson. A NASA Mathematician, they can see how her love of math help her overcome hardships throughout her life.

Calling All Minds: How To Think and Create Like an Inventor

Inspire kids ages 8-12 to make a difference. This interactive book teaches kids about the life of Temple Grandin, a professor with autism. Through maker activities, they have the chance to learn the importance of imagination and creativity.
