2022 Grant Program Spotlights
The 2022 IEEE Pre-University STEM Portal Grant recipients have successfully completed their programs. These programs helped to increase the opportunity for STEM education for pre-university students beyond just classroom and textbook learning. Northern Canada Section, R7; Amount Awarded: $1000How Computers Work Workshops was a Northern Canada program that introduced students ages 14-18 to concepts in software engineering, aiming to demonstrate how computers work through hands-on exposure to coding using Arduino kits and lessons, such as Arduino Blink Challenge from IEEE TryEngineering website.
