TryEngineering Tuesday is a monthly blog & webinar series that features an IEEE technical society with related activities for pre-university students. Join us this month and help students explore, engage, and get inspired about STEM fields.

This coming month of December 2022, TryEngineering Tuesday will be a featured presentation of the IEEE STEM Summit. The STEM Summit is an international event hosted by IEEE Educational Pre-University Activities virtually and for free. The theme of the IEEE STEM Summit is “Building Tomorrow’s Technical Community Today!” This theme provides a springboard for STEM enthusiasts, educators, parents, and anyone interested in STEM professionally or voluntarily, to encourage, influence, and strengthen all pre-university students to explore the internal engineer and scientist that hides inside them. IEEE STEM Summit is happening on 6-10 December 2022, and its program consists of keynote speeches, invited speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and family activities.

This issue features Dr. Mischa Dohler, where he will share his work on 5G, 6G and the Metaverse. Mischa Dohler is now Chief Architect at Ericsson Inc. in Silicon Valley, working on cutting-edge topics of 6G, Metaverse, XR, Quantum and Blockchain. He serves on the Technical Advisory Committee of the FCC and on the Spectrum Advisory Board of Ofcom.
