Would you like to put your students on the path to a successful STEM career? As an educator, getting kids interested in STEM isn’t always easy, but by showing them how science, technology, engineering, and math can solve problems in the real world — including those created by the COVID-19 pandemic — you can spark their interest. The STEM Careers Coalition is a unique online resource that can help you do just that. The website includes free STEM classroom activities and career engagement for educators, students, and parents.

Resources include:

  • A Classroom Activities series that provides standards-led guidance for teachers on how to set students up for STEM success. Every activity includes vital STEM skills and step-by-step guidance on how to embed them in your lessons. Some activities include sustainable innovation, machine learning, privacy and tech, and video game design.
  • A Careers Portal that brings possible STEM careers to students in the classroom. The portal includes videos and activities that encourage students to develop an interest in STEM. Some profiles include mechanical engineer, AI researcher, Data Scientist, Software Engineer, and Chemical engineer.
  • The COVID-19 Solution Seekers video series, which highlights for students how private industry and nonprofits are battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
