On Tuesday, August 15th, kids in twenty different countries broke the record by joining in the Moonhack event. Moonhack is an Australian record setting hackathon that wants to get kids interested in coding. Kids had one day to write code for something in one of Moonhack’s coding platforms. The only rule was that their animations, games, or websites feature a moon somewhere in their design. Kids also had the option to complete a Moonhack project using one of three programs: Scratch Jr, Scratch, or Python.
