OTHER Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program The mission of the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP) is to increase the number of historically underrepresented youth (African Americans, Latino Americans and Native Americans) who are motivated and prepared academically to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related fields. There are three entry points for DAPCEP programming: Kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade. DAPCEP In-School programming is also available at select middle schools.
