STEP: Summer Technology and Engineering Program for Girls

Target Applicant:

the Summer Technology and Engineering Program (STEP) is a free, three day non-residential engineering camp for girls going into 7th, 8th and 9th grades to encourage them to explore careers in the field of engineering. Participants will:

-Work in teams to complete and present a three day design activity
-Participate in hands-on activities and classroom lessons
-Learn about the different engineering disciplines and the career opportunities within each.
-Explore laboratories at Northwestern's Technological Institute
-Interact in small groups with Northwestern undergraduate engineering students
-Meet other girls who are also excited about engineering!
